羅漢已經斷盡貪、瞋、癡，解脫生死，所以是「所作皆辦」。凡夫因為放不下許多事情，所以是諸事未辦。
An Arhat has cut off greed, anger, and ignorance from their mind and attained the freedom from the cycle of life and death, so they can claim “I have completed all that needed to be done”. A secular being cannot let go of many things, therefore it is said “all things are not yet done”.
