所謂開光者，應開眾生迷；尊佛既安座，不迷是開光。
The grand opening ceremony of a new Buddha Hall, usually called “light opening” in Chinese, is to open the light of the minds of all beings away from delusions. When the Buddha statue is securely settled, there is no more confusion of mind and that is the meaning of the light opening.
